Young Republicans denounced after racist group chat revealed

Young Republican groups throughout the US are facing a significant backlash after some of their racist and highly offensive messages in a private group chat were revealed.
Democratic and Republican politicians denounced the language used and criticised the group. The Young Republican National Federation has called for resignations, the Kansas Young Republican group has been shut and a handful of those involved in the chat have lost their jobs.
On Tuesday, the news outlet Politico revealed 2,900 pages of leaked chats from a Telegram group chat involving Young Republican leaders.
