Florida wrestler charged after woman's 'help' note spotted in shop toilet

A sandwich shop employee in Florida reportedly helped authorities save a woman who had allegedly been kidnapped and abused by her pro-wrestler boyfriend after the worker found a note in a store toilet that read "HELP!"

Eleanor Coffee, who works at an outlet of the Jersey Mike's Subs sandwich chain in Navarre, noticed a "little piece of crumpled up paper" that had been discarded next to one of the store's toilet paper dispensers, she told the local news station WEAR-TV.

Coffee had initially thought it was a piece of rubbish but realised the paper contained a plea for help, a woman's name, a phone number and the address of a nearby property.

"Please help me get home!" the note said, according to an arrest report reviewed by the US media network Law & Crime. The writer of the note also asked for someone to "get" her before Friday, adding: "HELP!"
