Close shave for moviegoers at Emma Stone screening

Thrifty Yorgos Lanthimos fans in Los Angeles hoping to see his latest film for free were in luck yesterday, as a cinema offered complimentary tickets to anyone who was either already bald or willing to have their head shaved in the foyer beforehand.
The initiative was in homage to Emma Stone's character in Bugonia - a high-powered pharmaceutical CEO kidnapped by conspiracy theorists who shave her hair off in the belief that she is an alien.
Anyone with hair eager for a free screening and a gratis buzz cut was advised to arrive at the Culver Theater after 6pm to be attended by a barber.
"This is real. And yes, part of it will be filmed," the cinema said online, specifying that hopefuls needed to be over 18.
