Brand Appears in Court on Five Rape and Sexual Assault Charges

Russell Brand appeared in court yesterday on rape and sexual assault charges.
During a brief hearing at Westminster magistrates court, he was told he faced an Old Bailey trial on five charges.
An investigation was launched after Brand was accused of sexual offences by several women, in a joint investigation by the Sunday Times, the Times and Channel 4 Dispatches, in September 2023.
