NEW PETROL STATION HAS 'HAD ENOUGH' OF OFF-ROAD BIKE 'CHAOS'

A petrol station has banned the sale of fuel for illegal off-road bikes in a bid to help rid their community of the riders wreaking havoc and putting lives at risk.

Owners of Hartlepool Services and convenience shop on the A689, Bellevue Way in Hartlepool, are taking a stand against illegal and dangerous off-road biking in the town, which is becoming a growing problem. The business, based in the Rossmere ward, has made the decision to refuse to sell fuel to individuals using off-road bikes - a move aimed at tackling the growing problem of anti-social behaviour linked to these vehicles.
