New long-stay suites a 'real asset for town'

FORTY-TWO apartments intended for longer-term Tees Valley stays are now open for business.
Middlesbrough mayor Chris Cooke has welcomed the opening of Station Suites, praising it as "a real asset".
The new accommodation concept offers 42 spacious apartments for guests whose stay in the Tees Valley is likely to be longer than one or two nights.
They will enjoy all the services of a hotel as well as additional benefits - such as bigger rooms, king size beds, kitchenettes and access to a laundry and lockers.
The developer of Station Suites describes it is a "home from home plus". The apartments are located in Linthorpe Road, 200 yards from the railway station.
Mr Cooke said they will play an important role in the continuing development of an up-and-coming part of the town. In recent years it has seen millions of pounds of public and private money invested in the station, Exchange Square, the hugely successful Middlesbrough STACK and now Station Suites.
