SHOCKED STAFF IN TEARS AT DEVASTATING NEWS

A TEESSIDE manufacturing firm has gone into administration just a year after taking over a long-established company.

Glacier Energy Manufacturing Ltd took over Francis Brown Ltd, which makes items for the energy market, in August last year.

However, on Friday, all staff - believed to be around 50 people - were called together for a meeting at the Hill Street East premises in Stockton to be told the business was in administration and they were to leave immediately. One staff mem-

ber said there were tears and people were reeling in shock - he said some employees had worked there under Francis Brown Ltd for more than 30 years.
