MAN GIVEN SIX-YEAR JAIL SENTENCE
AN INTOXICATED man threatened two women with a shotgun before firing it inside a block of flats.
Jamie Bullock caused his victims to go into hiding when he pointed a shotgun at them before firing it at the ceiling following an argument over the whereabouts of his mobile phone.
Bullock, 38, was so intoxicated with drugs and alcohol that he couldn't recall what led up to the incident, a court heard.
He later pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm with the intention to cause fear of violence and possession of ammunition for a shotgun when prohibited for life.
Yesterday, he appeared at Teesside Crown Court via video link from HMP Holme House.
The court heard that on February 15, 2024, police attended a flat on Lothian Road in Middlesbrough following an anonymous 999 call made at 8.40pm reporting a loud bang and a woman screaming inside a flat.
