Drug dealer apologises for his 'despicable crimes'
The Gazette
|August 06, 2025
A DRUG dealer read a letter to the judge apologising for his 'despicable crimes' after he was 'forced into a world he didn't understand or belong' after falling into credit card debt.

Jack Harrison has been locked up for almost four years after admitting a string of offences including possession with intent to supply cocaine and three counts of possessing criminal property including a Mercedes, a Rolex watch and £191 in cash. Teesside Crown Court heard how police raided Harrison's home, where he lived with his mother, and discovered 51g of cocaine - with an estimated street value of between £4,080 and £5,100.
The search also uncovered a 0.61g sealed bag of cocaine, a lock knife with residue on the blade, drug paraphernalia including scales and grip sealed bags, and six mobile phones. They also discovered designer clothes and two Rolex watches - one of which was authentic and estimated to be worth between £9,000 and £10,000, said Shada Mellor, prosecuting.
The 30-year-old was also in possession of a Mercedes.
