Dedicated gamer Abigail to star in Roblox movie

AN 11-year-old will star in the world's first feature-length gamer film Roblox which hits the big screens across the UK this Easter.

The secondary student will be making her cinema debut this month in the world’s very first feature-length big-screen gamer movie. Abigail Moore, who lives in Hartlepool, is one of six children competing in the Kartoon Channel’s Gaming Challenge UK, battling it out on the hugely popular Roblox platform to be crowned the ‘UK's ultimate gamer’.

The film is set to be released in Vue Cinemas across the UK on Saturday, April 19. Fans will watch competitors - all British children aged between nine and 12 - taking part in eight exclusive Roblox challenges, with two finalists going head-to-head to win a grand prize and the coveted title.

Abigail's mum Nikki Moore, a flight attendant, said: “Since 2019, Abigail has played Roblox avidly with her friends. I don’t have a clue about how to play it.
