Council's new permanent adult social care director

MIDDLESBROUGH now has a permanent director of adult social care, following a “demanding process”.
Councillors were emailed following completion of the process which has seen Louise Grabham appointed as the council’s permanent director of adult social care and health integration.
The email details that there was a final interview in front of the Chief Officers Appointment Committee.
The interview process took place on Thursday, April 24, and Friday, April 25.
As has been reported previously, a watchdog recently rated Middlesbrough Council’s adult social care as “requires improvement”, following an inspection carried out in late 2024.
