Chance to make airport experience better for all

ONE week of recess and we are back into legislation with a vengeance.

This week we have the Civil Aviation Bill and one on bidding for major sporting events. Both things that I work on.

The aviation bill is interesting because it brought out a wide variety of views.

We had two people in the debate who had been pilots and we had peers talking about Heathrow expansion and climate change. Many talked about accessibility and this is what I am going to work on.

There is no doubt that the demand for assistance has increased as more people become passengers.

But the definition of what people need (or may like) needs further work.
