PAIR RAM WATCH SELLER'S CAR THEN TAKE GOODS
TWO brothers robbed a man of luxury watches and fled from police.
Sonny and Levi Smith stole £380 worth of watches from a man who had advertised them for sale.
The brothers arranged to meet the man on Church Lane in Eston, on July 26.
The two turned up in Sonny Smith's Dodge Journey vehicle - despite the fact that Sonny Smith has no licence.
Teesside Crown Court heard that the seller became concerned that the promised transaction wouldn't go through and he got back into his car with the watches.
Jenny Haigh, prosecuting, told the court that Levi Smith, 18, began shouting at the seller and Sonny Smith, 19, rammed the man’s car with his Dodge SUV.
