The Truth Will Always Reveal Itself

Truth isn't found in what someone says, but in their actions and behavior.

It has been said that life has its way of revealing the truth. True, indeed. Lately, I had an experience of finding this out for myself, when the true character of a person whom I extended help to in the past finally came to light.

When I stopped giving her aid (I have my personal, practical reasons), she changed. She stopped texting me. In the past, when I helped her, she would text almost every day. When I stopped helping, the messages stopped coming in.

This change made me think about what Pastor Osteen said in one sermon: “No one is your true friend. Priority shifts when benefits stop. People come and go into your life. That’s the season of life. They are not bad people but that’s how the nature of man works.
