The Forever War

The attack of the U.S. and Israel on Iran is now on its second week, and Iran has retaliated/continued to rain missiles and drones on Israel and the Gulf states that host U.S. military bases.

More than thousands in casualties are reported, with Iranians accounting for 90% and the rest Arabs, Israelis, six Americans, and one Filipino.As much as the Americans, Europeans, Russia, China, the United Nations, and the rest of the world wants this war to end in weeks or as soon as possible, the vengeful Iranians want conflagration to widen this war to all the Gulf states and prolong this conflict.

The major issues/problems with this war are the reasons the U.S. and Israel started this war and the lack of end objectives. The Trump administration has touted that it initiated a preemptive attack, as Iran was about to launch missiles at U.S. forces in the gulf states, that Iran is fast developing its nuclear capabilities, and that Iran's autocratic government has to be toppled. These rationales lack validated evidence, and there are less-destructive ways to topple a dictatorship other than a full-scale war.
