The Ordre Mondial des Gourmets Dégustateurs (OMDG) is a branch of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs for members with a particular interest in wines, spirits, liqueurs, and crafted beverages, as well as pairing them with suitable dishes.
A dinner was organized at the Marble + Grain Steakhouse of bai Hotel Cebu (Ouano Avenue, corner C.D. Seno, Mandaue City, Phone: +6332 342 8888) for an upcoming OMDG event this June 21 at the same venue.
The first drink, Freixenet Reserva Real Cuvée de Prestige Brut Espumoso (Sparkling White Wine), was opened, paired with Tapas and Pintxos. In Spain, Tapas are small plates of food (hot or cold) served as snacks or appetizers. Pintxos are Basque Spanish Tapas, similar to Tapas but more elaborate and have more ingredients.
