Riders have to be extra careful

Photos and videos of motorcycle riders sprawled in the street following an accident have sadly become more common in social media nowadays.

Last Friday it was no different after a man and a woman died after their motorcycle got into an accident in the Cebu South Coastal Road in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.

According to a report in Banat News, the sister publication of this newspaper, the two were on their way to a hotel where the woman worked when the motorcycle switched lanes and hit a cargo truck heading to Talisay City. The two spilled from the motorcycle and were run over by the same truck.
