Representative Girlie Veloso files 10 priority bills

Wasting no time after the opening of the 20th Congress, Congresswoman Girlie Veloso of the Malasakit@Bayanihan Partylist filed the party's top 10 priority bills.

These are the Unified Health Record System Act; Health Social Workers Welfare and Integration Act; Health Diplomacy and Filipino Access to Global Medical Advancements Act; Health Resilience and Continuity of Care Act; Medical Assistance for Filipinos Act; Magna Carta for Barangay Health Workers Act; Gobyernong may PUSO Act (Pambansang Ugnayan para sa Serbisyong Organisado o PUSO); Child Support Enforcement Act; Fire Victims Recovery Act; and Continuing Professional Development Reform Act.

Veloso, in a statement, said these proposed measures reflect the partylist's core mission of delivering Serbisyong may Malasakit through concrete, people-centered legislation.

She said these bills reinforced the idea that the State's ultimate allegiance is to its people and together, they form a cohesive legislative agenda, Batas na may Malasakit, that puts people first.
