Real estate industry expects consultative shift with new board

The Accredited Real Estate Salespersons of the Philippines Inc. (ACRES) welcomed the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service (PRBRES), signaling industry expectations for a more consultative regulatory approach as the Philippine property sector expands.
The appointments were formalized during an oath-taking ceremony administered by the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) Dec. 17, 2025, at its headquarters in Manila.
The new board is chaired by Ofelia C. Binag, with members Cecilynne R. Andrade, Maria Teresita B. Canlas, Jessie B. Doctolero and Estelita D. Patdu.
