Puso Village officially opens

After three years since its plan was laid on the table, the disputed Puso Village has officially opened its doors to the public through cultural representations and appreciation.

In his message during the ceremonial opening, Jynx Chanjueco, Marketing Head for Cebu2World Development Inc. (C2W), a subsidiary of Megawide Construction Corp., recalled that it was in 2020 when the project was awarded in line with the Carbon Modernization Project through a Joint Venture Agreement.
In the master plan he presented, the Freedom Park at the Carbon Market was revitalized in 2022 in order to preserve its cultural representation—restoring the park to its original location.
Moving forward, the Baracks will serve as an extension of Freedom Park and will be transformed into an “inviting and functional greenspace” that will be covered with trees.
