PRO-7 urged to stand with governor vs crime

Cebu Provincial Governor Pamela Baricuatro urged the Police Regional Office Central Visayas (PRO-7) to stand with her in their relentless pursuit against crimes during their traditional flag-raising ceremony at Camp Sergio Osmeña Sr. in Cebu City yesterday morning.

In her message as the guest speaker, Baricuatro thanked and congratulated PRO-7 on their achievement for ranking on top in their anti-drugs campaign across the region.

“Thank you kaayo. I am so happy to hear about that. I just want to tell you to keep up the good job,” Baricuatro said.

Baricuatro also asserted that her main goal as the provincial governor is rooted in public safety and security.

“I have been talking about good governance, transparency, anti-corruption, accountability. But you know, at the end of the day, the goal is simple --safety and security,” she said.

She added that the success of her administration and the progress of the entire province is a shared responsibility, underscoring the crucial roles of the government, police force, and the community.
