In a strategic move aimed at transforming healthcare access across the Philippines, particularly in underserved areas of the Visayas and Mindanao, tech solutions provider Yondu Inc. has partnered with Cebu-based Chong Hua Hospital to roll out a next-generation digital health platform: CHi, or Chong Hua Interactive.
-
The initiative highlights the increasing convergence of technology and healthcare in emerging markets, where digital tools are being leveraged to bridge structural gaps and expand access to quality medical services.
The launch of CHi signals an inflection point in the digitalization of hospital systems outside Metro Manila, aligning with the national push for inclusive, tech-enabled healthcare delivery.
"This partnership demonstrates how innovation can play a catalytic role in addressing the healthcare challenges faced by both providers and patients," said Joan Peñaflorida, President and CEO of Yondu.
According to Peñaflorida, by developing intelligent, secure, and scalable solutions, "we enable hospitals to refocus on what matters most—their patients."
The CHi platform is designed to streamline hospital operations and enhance the patient experience through a full suite of AI-powered functionalities.
