Over P468M drugs incinerated

More than P468 million worth of confiscated illegal drugs were destroyed during the third and one of the largest drug destructions conducted this year by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-7.
The ceremony was held on Tuesday, December 17, at Cosmopolitan Funeral Homes Inc. along Junquera Street in Cebu City. It was led by PDEA Director General Undersecretary Isagani Nerez and Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) Chairman Secretary Oscar Valenzuela.
Also in attendance were representatives from the Department of Justice, the Public Attorney's Office, various local government units, non-government organizations, and media partners.
