Morning fire leaves 5 families homeless in Brgy Mambaling

At least 12 individuals and five families were displaced after a fire broke out in a boarding house in Sitio Avocado, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City on Tuesday morning, August 12.

The fire reportedly started at 9:53 a.m. inside the room-for-rent establishment owned by a certain Roda Blanca Tagalog. It was raised to first alarm at 9:59 a.m.

Through the swift action of the responding units from the Cebu City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (CCDRRMO) and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), the fire was declared under control at 10:11 a.m. and extinguished by 10:16 a.m.
