MCWD asked to explain plans for Mandaue

The Mandaue City Government has asked the Metropolitan Cebu Water District (MCWD) to lay out its expansion plans in the city, especially in certain barangays to address the water shortage.
Mandaue City administrator Gonzalo Malig-on said that Mayor Thadeo Jovito "Jonkie" Ouano brought up concerns about water connection and consumption to the MCWD, which he heard directly from residents during his visits to the barangays.
Malig-on said that the mayor asked the MCWD about its plans and projects to address the requests of Mandauehanons.
"Sa sige og suroy-suroy sa mayor mao man ni ihunghong sa mga tao nga hinay diri, hinay didto, so iya ng gi-relay," said Malig-on.
