Melvin “El Gringo” Jerusalem is locked and loaded as he puts his World Boxing Council (WBC) minimumweight throne on the line against South African challenger Siyakholwa Kuse in the main event of Manny Pacquiao’s blockbuster card commemorating the 50th anniversary of the historic “Thrilla in Manila” tonight (Wednesday, October 29) at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

“I am so excited to be a part of this landmark moment in Philippine sports,” said the 31-year-old Jerusalem, who will defend his WBC 105-pound belt for the third time.
The Bukidnon-native Jerusalem, who holds a 24-3 win-loss record with 12KOs, is heavily favored against Kuse (9-2-1, 4KOs), who will see action for the first time outside of his homeland.
