IN AUGUST ANTI-DRUG DRIVE PRO-7 nets P97.7M shabu, arrests 777 personalities

Over P97.7 million worth of illegal drugs were seized and a total of 777 drug personalities were arrested during the month-long anti-drug operations carried out by the police across Central Visayas in August 2025.

Based on the data from the Police Regional Office 7 (PRO-7), the Mandaue City Police Office has recorded the most number of seizures, with P64,103,328 worth of suspected shabu weighing up to 9.4 kilograms.
Bohol Police Provincial Office ranked next, with over 2.5 kilograms of shabu bearing a market price of P17,032,596.
Around 1.5 kilograms of shabu valued at P9,934,392 were also confiscated by the Cebu City Police Office.
