THE LEGACY CONTINUES
The Gullas Cup, one of the most-recognized events in the Philippine tennis calendar, will make a big comeback for its 24th edition on October 17-20 in two venues - the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club in Barangay Pardo and Citigreen Tennis Resort in Barangay Punta Princesa, Cebu City.
The Gullas family led by John Vicente “Johnvic” Gullas, his son JT, and nephew Jose Miguel “J-Mi” Gullas formally launched the event’s return from a seven-year hiatus in a press conference on Thursday, June 26, at the University of the Visayas (UV) Multimedia Center located at the 5th floor of the school’s Inday Pining Building. They were joined by sportsman John Pages and tournament director Jun Tabura.
