Small Actions, Big Impact! Kids Can Make a Difference!

- By Zaida Marie A. Tambis

Carla, Ara, and Jenie were best friends in Grade 4 at San Isidro Elementary School. They sat together in class, shared snacks during recess, and helped each other with schoolwork. But what made them special was how much they cared about other people.

One Monday morning, their teacher, Ms. Milano, walked into class holding a colorful poster.

"Class," she said with a smile, "our school is joining a Global Kids Challenge. Students from different countries will share ideas to help solve real-world problems." The class buzzed with excitement.

"What kind of problems?" asked Ara.

"Problems about the environment, health, and helping communities," Ms. Milano explained. "And I think some of you are ready."

Carla, Ara, and Jenie looked at each other. Their eyes sparkled. Carla grinned.

After class, the three friends stayed behind.

"What if we join? I think we can do it." Carla said.

"But what can we do?" Jenie asked.
