CPPO condemns 'misbehavior' of drunk police officer

The Cebu Police Provincial Office (CPPO) condemned the reported misconduct of its personnel, who was recently arrested for allegedly being drunk and causing public disturbance inside a cockpit arena in Barangay South Poblacion, City of Naga, Cebu on Saturday, August 30.

The police officer was identified as 46-year-old Patrolman Frank Omambac Alemanto, a mobile patrol driver of the Talisay City Police Station.
In a statement issued yesterday, Police Colonel Christopher Bermudez, CPPO Director, said the provincial police force denounced the disorderly behavior of the apprehended police officer.
Bermudez said Alemanto’s action will not be tolerated by the Philippine National Police (PNP) organization as he pointed out that values of discipline, integrity, and professionalism must be embodied among police officers.
