City launches Sinulog in IT Park
The Freeman
|January 16, 2026
For the first time in the history of Sinulog, workers in Cebu’s business process outsourcing sector—mainly those based in Cebu I.T. Park—finally have a festival of their own.
-
The inaugural IT-BPM Sinulog Festival, which kicked off earlier this week at the Garden Bloc, offers nightly festivities from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. It will run until January 18, the day of the Sinulog grand parade itself.
The event, launched under the city’s 24/7 governance initiative, recognizes the vital role of night-shift workers in sustaining Cebu’s round-the-clock economy.
Cebu City Vice Mayor Tomas Osmeña said the event was born out of a longstanding gap in the city’s annual celebration.
