Aside from the CCPO, the city government's deployment also involves multiple agencies, such as the Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO), the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CCDRRMO), Barangay Public Safety Officers (BPSO), and volunteer force multipliers.

Mayor Nestor Archival confirmed the city’s readiness after its regular Monday meeting with department heads and partner agencies.
“Preparations for Kalag-Kalag 2025 were among the key topics during our meeting,” he said, noting that the city’s Security and Safety Deployment Plan outlines measures for crowd management, traffic rerouting, and maintaining peace and order.
Police visibility will be round-the-clock, with emergency response stations and assistance hubs strategically positioned near cemeteries.
Coordination centers have also been activated to ensure swift communication and response among agencies.
“Every year, daghang Sugboanon ang mobisita sa mga lubnganan aron sa paghinumdom sa ilang mga hinigugma, and our goal is to make sure nga luwas, malinawon, ug hapsay ang pag-obserba sa Kalag-Kalag,” Archival added.
