Capitol institutionalizing service delivery network

FOR A RESPONSIVE HEALTHCARE SYSTEM

Driven by its vision for a more integrated and responsive healthcare system, the Cebu provincial government is institutionalizing its service delivery network following the Sangguniang Panlalawigan's second reading approval.

The ordinance, authored by Cebu Province Board Member Dr. Stanley S. Caminero, seeks to create the Cebu Provincial Healthcare Provider Network/Service Delivery Network (SDN) Coordinating Body and Technical Management Unit.

It defines the roles, powers, and functions of these units and aims to enhance collaboration, efficiency, and responsiveness in Cebu's healthcare delivery.

Under the proposed measure, Cebu Province will be divided into multiple health clusters—South, West, Northeast, Northwest, and South Central—which will meet regularly through the Technical Management Unit.
