AS OF 3RD QUARTER OF 2025 Mandaue gov't hits P1.5B tax collection

Even with just three quarters into the year, the Mandaue City Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) has already collected P1.5 billion in business taxes.

BPLO head, Atty. August Lizer M. Malate, said their tax collection for just the first three quarters of this year has already matched the total amount collected in 2024.

This means any additional collection in the remaining five months will already exceed last year’s total.

“That means nga mu go beyond pa mi sa among last year nga collection,” said Malate.

Malate said the City’s projected revenue target increases by P100 million every year compared to the previous year’s collection.

Malate expressed optimism that they will be able to achieve this year’s target of P1.6 billion.

“So yearly nakita nato nga musaka ta og collection by 100 million per year. We are targeting the same,” said Malate.
