Archival serious in pursuing land swap deal with capitol

Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival reaffirmed the city’s commitment to the implementation of the 93-1 land swap agreement with the Cebu Provincial Government.
-
This agreement, which had been revoked by previous administrations, is being revived through the newly approved Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), which aims to address longstanding concerns.
In his latest press conference, Archival reiterated that the Cebu City Council had already granted him the authority to negotiate and sign, on behalf of the Cebu City Government, the MOU with Cebu Province in relation to the implementation and resolution of matters involving Provincial Ordinance No. 93-1.
“This is a continuation actually. During the time sa last administration nahunong man to in a way, ang nahitabo, gusto man to sa provincial government nga presyo (loan) mao ni,” said Archival.
Archival further said that this will not affect those who had already processed their loans through Pag-Ibig Fund, as these applications hadn’t yet begun in the first place.
