Children of sanitation workers to interact with IIT faculty

In a landmark initiative, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) is opening the doors of one of India’s premier institutions, IIT Hyderabad, to the children of the city’s sanitation workers.

For the first time, students from Classes 6 to 10 will participate ina specially curated exposure visit to the IIT Hyderabad campus on January 31. The programme aims to broaden horizons and inspire children whose families quietly serve the city every day by keeping its streets clean.
