A 14-year-old student, Roshan Samadhan Aher, was killed on Tuesday morning after being run over by a construction mixer truck near Lohoner village on the SakriShirdi highway. The incident sparked outrage among relatives, who staged a roadblock protest at Devla Pachkandil demanding strict action against the driver.
The agitation was withdrawn after Inspector Sarthak Nehete of Devla Police Station assured the family of firm legal steps.
