Actor Dulquer Salmaan approached the Kerala High Court on Friday, seeking reversal of the customs department's decision to seize his luxury vehicle.

The challenge comes amid a sweeping investigation into a network accused of smuggling high-end automobiles into the state using forged documentation.

The plaintiff asserts that the vehicle in question—a Land Rover seized from his Elamkulam residence—was legally bought after all formalities, and that its import was facilitated by the Red Cross. The petition contends that authorities have acted unlawfully in confiscating the car and demands its surrender be set aside.
