TRIGGER! New strategy prompted by NSS endorsement of LDF policies

- HD Bureau

The BJP has initiated a discreet campaign to reassert its influence over two powerful Kerala community organisations — the Nair Service Society and the SNDP Yogam — after both groups adopted stances viewed as favourable to the Left.

Senior party insiders confirm a series of high-level consultations and outreach projects designed to reverse what is seen as a drift.

State BJP leaders privately acknowledge unease over the visible warming of NSS and SNDP to the Left Democratic Front, especially on religious and temple issues. Though they publicly maintain confidence that the organisations will return to the BJP fold, internal deliberations show mounting urgency to act.

The party is now planning “course-correction” strategies tailored to address alienation among these traditional constituencies.
