Australia’s Victoria University set to open first India campus

Victoria University (VU) is set to make a significant entry into India’s higher education landscape, with the Australian institution beginning work on its first campus in the Delhi NCR region.

The upcoming Gurugram campus, expected to open by mid-2026, will be the first in India to offer programmes taught entirely through VU’s globally recognised Block Model of learning.

The university said that the new campus will offer courses in business, IT, sports management and research, mirroring the contemporary design and teaching environment of VU’s City Tower campus in Melbourne. The Delhi NCR expansion follows VU’s approval under India’s National Education Policy, which allows select foreign universities to establish full-fledged campuses in the country.
