Woman robbed of ₹2.85L gold and cash on Kutch Express

In yet another shocking incident highlighting passenger safety concerns on Indian Railways, a 50-year-old woman was robbed of gold ornaments and cash worth Rs2.85 lakh while travelling on the Kutch Express from Bhuj to Bandra in the early hours of Sunday.
The victim, identified as Bhavana Vyas, a school teacher from Bengaluru, was travelling alone in Coach B/05, Seat No. 57 of Train No. 22956 Kutch Express. According to the complaint filed with Ahmedabad Railway Police, the theft occurred when the train halted briefly at Ahmedabad railway station between 3:20 am and 3:40 am.
