Wholesale inflation eases to 0.13% in Sep

The annual rate of inflation based on All India Wholesale Price Index (WPI) eased to 0.13% in September, from 0.52% in August, according to data released by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry on Tuesday.
Positive rate of wholesale price inflation, the ministry said, is primarily due to increase in prices of manufacture of food products, other manufacturing, nonfood articles, other transport equipment and textiles etc.
