State government plans phased rollout to expand access to books, e- learning content, and IT resources in rural areas
The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a large-scale initiative to establish digital libraries in 11,350 gram panchayats during the first phase, aimed at improving access to quality educational resources for rural youth.
The project is intended to support preparation for competitive examinations, including civil services and other government recruitment tests, by reducing dependence on urban coaching centres.
