The Special Investigation Team proObing the Sabarimala gold theft has told the Kerala High Court it found no evidence linking a Dindigul-based businessman, D. Mani, to the Sabarimala gold theft case, effectively closing a line of inquiry that had drawn political attention and cross-border scrutiny between Kerala and Tamil Nadu.

- HD Bureau

The finding is contained in a detailed report submitted to the Kerala High Court, which had constituted the SIT to independently examine allegations that surfaced after claims by a senior political leader and inputs attributed to an overseas businessman.

According to the report, investigators were unable to establish any material connection between Mani and the disappearance of gold associated with the Sabarimala temple.
