SEBI to modernise rulebook

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has initiated a sweeping review of its rulebook to remove redundancies, clarify ambiguities and modernise provisions that no longer reflect contemporary market conditions, chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said on Monday.
Speaking at the Cll Financing Summit, Pandey noted that the regulator has commenced a comprehensive reassessment of all its regulations, following public consultation.
