Lulu Group chairman M.A. Yusuff Ali blamed a political party for the project's 2½-year delay
Thrissur's planned Lulu Mall remains entangled in legal proceedings after T.N. Mukundan, the former Varandarappilly local committee secretary of the Communist Party of India, who has filed a petition contesting the acquisition of land for the planned Lulu Mall in Thrissur, has won his party's support for his cause.
Mukundan asserts that the land falls within the protected paddy field zone. CPI state secretary Binoy Viswam confirmed the party's support for Mukundan's legal challenge during Wednesday's state council meeting.
