— the Lumix GH7 — was launched globally on June 5, 2024. It is the successor to the Lumix GH6 that was launched in April 2022 in India. The recent GH-series has been well received by Lumix users. Let us see how the GH7 performs on our testbench.

Design & build quality The Panasonic Lumix GH7 body has a good build quality. It uses magnesium alloy for strength and low weight. The body is splash, dust and freeze resistant. Like the other models in the GH-series, the GH7 is also a MFT (Micro Four Thirds) System camera. The camera body weighs 805g inclusive of the battery and memory card and is made in China.

The GH7 is a MFT System camera with Crop Factor is 2. Hence the Leica certified DG SUMMILUX 25mm f/1.4ASPH lens used for this review is equivalent to 50mm on a 35mm full frame camera.
