70-vehicle convoy storms UP's meat hubs

Income Tax and GST teams launched a major raid on Monday morning against leading meat exporters across Uttar Pradesh, targeting locations in Sambhal, Bareilly, Ghaziabad, and Hapur.

The operation began at dawn, with more than 70 vehicles and over 200 officers mobilized. In Sambhal and Ghaziabad, officials raided the residences and factories of Haji Imran and Haji Irfan, owners of India Frozen Foods, a company with an estimated turnover of around ₹1,000 crore. The homes of four senior executives of the company were also searched.
