25 private buses seized for violations

In a major crackdown on private buses plying on national highways without valid permits, the Transport Department on Wednesday seized 25 high-end multi-axle buses on the Bengaluru-Chennai National Highway for multiple violations, including nonpayment of state road tax and lack of mandatory safety features.
