Lure of honey

Nivan came home from school dancing with excitement.

As soon as he entered the house, he hugged his grandfather and said, “Ajjooo, let’s make honey at home!”Running his hand through Nivan’s hair and glancing at Grandma, Grandpa said, “Nivu, let the honeybees do that job. Ill help as much as I can.”

Wiping her hands on her sari, Grandma said, “Hmm, you start building the honeycomb. I'll be right back with the honey.”

Grandpa muttered "That's the easy part.”

Grandma heard him, and began her usual chant, “Nivan, first change your clothes. Wash your hands and feet. Come eat. Then we'll see about that honey.”

While eating, Nivan said, “Today at school the teacher told us how honeybees make honey. It’s really simple, Ajjo. This Sunday I'm going to make honey. You'll help me, right?”

“Yes, yes, Grandpa will definitely help you,” Grandma said. Grandpa's eyes widened as he replied, “Yesss! Tell me, what help do you need?”

“Um... [ need one straw and one candle.”

“That's all? Anything else?”
